Hall & Hall Engineers (HHE) provided civil engineering design for the 296 residential unit neighborhood in Marion, Iowa known as Rookwood Estates. The neighborhood includes several multi-family buildings, townhomes, alley and front-loaded duplexes, alley and front-loaded single family, including amenities of a dog park, playground, and various open spaces provided throughout the development.
HHE responsibilities included:
Completed mass grading, utility plans, streets and associated parking for the entire 45-acre subdivision.
Completed topographic and boundary survey, preliminary and final platting, construction staking
Coordinated neighborhood outreach throughout site plan approval process
Completed regional storm water management for entire area including several infiltration practices dispersed throughout the site
Prepared off-site improvement plans for Fernow Road which included coordination with Linn County Engineering Department
