Hall & Hall Engineers (HHE) was the lead designer of this eight-court tennis facility. The addition of this complex will allow the student-athletes access to top-quality, lighted facilities on the Oak Ridge Campus. This complex is nestled in amongst other sports uses of softball, baseball, track and field and will enhance existing Linn Mar athletic facilities to maintain a competitive edge as compared to other area high schools. Much coordination was needed with the City of Marion, Iowa and the Marion Parks Department as this will be a community wide facility.
HHE provided the complete land survey and civil engineering design which included topographic survey, constructions staking, site layout, grading, drainage, utility services and earth work quantity calculations. To best fit the courts on the available land area, a unique clover configuration was devised by HHE. This allowed the existing surrounding features to be maintained.
