Hall & Hall Engineers (HHE) completed Site Surveying, Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering Services for the reconstruction of softball and baseball fields for Xavier High School.
Services included completing a preliminary design of the facility to confirm viability of sunken dugouts, review of possible conversion of all or portions of the fields to artificial turf, prepared construction cost estimate for the improvements including exploring alternatives of improvements to fit the project budget provided by the Owner. Lastly, HHE guided the project through the bidding and construction process.
To assist with fundraising efforts and garner support for the project, HHE prepared a 3-D electronic model with virtual fly-through to help stakeholders visualize site lines with the sunken dugouts.
