The City of Fairfax, IA selected Hall & Hall Engineers’ landscape architecture team to create a concept master plan for 185 acres of land donated to the city by the Bellon-Africa family. HHE created a plan fulfilling the community-centric vision for the client with nearly 80% of the site earmarked for public and civic purposes. The plan included a new city hall, fire and police station, a new community center, a large city park, and a network of interconnected trails for public use. The remaining land has plans to become a mix of commercial area, assisted and independent living, and an event center.
